How can Cruse help?
Cruse provides a range of services to help people to cope with the changes that bereavement may create in their lives. Services available in Northern Ireland include:
• Free leaflets available from local offices or the Cruse Regional Office
• Individual face-to-face bereavement support and counselling from a bereavement volunteer • Support in a bereavement group • Confidential day-to-day freephone helpline 0844 477 9400
• Online access to information at http://www.cruse.org.uk/ and www.cruseni.org • Advice, support and information for parents and carers supporting bereaved children and young people • Face-to-face bereavement support for children aged 4-18 in the majority of Cruse area/branches in NI • For young people, a freephone helpline 0808 808 1677 and online access to information and support at http://www.rd4u.org.uk/ • Remember Our Child service which provides a service to parents following the loss of a child on 028 90 797 975
The services available will:
• Take place within a strict code of confidentiality
• Try to enable clients to regain some control over their lives • Be provided free of charge • Be delivered by volunteers
